Another update

I posted a picture of this bike on my post about model kits, at the time I had no info. As it turns out it comes via Pete Stansfield of Eat the Rich Fame. Thanks to the ever informative Pipeburn for the new info

Last year he came across this drag bike frame for sale on eBay and knew he had to purchase it.
"I bought the frame for £170 and the rear slick for £10".
What a bargain!!

AND THEN I THOUGHT WHAT MIGHT BE THE INSPIRATION?

ignore the girders it's close
Both  Nostalgia on Wheels & Show & Go have featured Mickey Hall's bike
Both great sources of information on all sorts of bike related stuff!

 Not quite but close

SEEK AND THY SHALL FIND

in this case  on the Jockey Journal ,an apparently bottomless source of knowledge and information!
Boots Bleechler's  ( great name!!) late 50's low 10's 126.37mph triumph the inspiration for the kit
